Review from Guidestar
Northeast Wilderness Trust has an admirably focused mission: to preserve carefully chosen lands in a forever-wild state. While there are many terrific organizations devoted to land conservation, no other that I know of has an exclusive focus on holding wildlands in fee or under easement. With a very small skilled staff and a dedicated board, it is increasing the presence of such lands in New England and building substantial funds to maintain them in perpetuity.
