Northeast Nebraska Juvenile Services Inc

Programs: Provide room and board for the only staff-secure and lock down secure facility for juvenile offenders in the northeast nebraska area. The staff secure area can house up to 18 juveniles per day. Housing was provided for xxx males and xxx females in the last fiscal year. The facility provided services to 28 different counties in nebraska. The ins and state department of health and human services staff ratios are maintained to comply with nebraska juvenile jail standards. Efforts are continued at in house education and behavior modification to reduce the incidence of repeat dententions. Juveniles attend class to stay current with school. They are regularly enrolled at ged instruction and testing is administered where applicable. Religious instruction and mental health services are also available.
