Mission: Girl Scouts has an eighty-eight year history of inspiring girls to create high character ideals and make sound moral judgments. Girl Scouts of Northeast Georgia was chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA fifty-eight years ago. Our mission is "To inspire girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism, and service so that they may become happy and resourceful citizens." While our goal is to serve every girl through volunteer leadership, there are many girls within our twenty-five county jurisdictions that have not had the opportunity to benefit from our program. Our belief is girls need Girl Scouts in every community.
