Our sled hockey team was equally successful capturing the silver medal in this year's new england invitational sled hockey tournament in westfield, massachusetts and took 4th place in teir first visit to the 10th annual invitational sledge hockey tournament in ottawa, canada. In may, vermont city marathon had a record 23 handcycists racing it, many of whom were ndda athletes. Ndaa sponsored athlete, stephen lawler was an alternate on the usa paralympic downhill ski team. We continued to witness an increase in our adaptive sailing program with a record number of new and returning sailors using our martin 16 sailboat. Our annual martin 16 invitational regatta at the mallets bay boat club continues to be one of the oldest and longest running regattas for sailors with disabilities in new england, the event has grown every year. This past year saw 19 sailors from all over the usa and canada competing in the regatta and we added a class of boats known as the 2. 5s to participate in the regatta which had 6 sailors compete. This past year, ndaa served approximately 475 participants in our programs and 70 volunteers. _
