I am honored to be part of the NAFB. I am a volunteer and I enjoy spending alot of time there. We try to help many people in our area and you see so many appreciative families and it especially is great when you see the children smile. Every volunteer works very hard to keep things moving and our community donates alot of food to us. But there are always more and more clients so the food goes out as fast as it comes in.
Helping people is certainly the motto at our food bank and we always try to improve so we are always there for those who need us.

It has been my great honor to volunteer for and help raise funds for the Northampton Area Food Bank. It is an organization that started in a garage. Thanks to the many giving people who saw the need of this community it has grown to offer food to hundreds of families in the surrounding area.
The people that volunteer their time for the NAFB work tirelessly to not only keep it running but to find new ways to meet the needs of the community. Currently that means finding a way to get food to seniors who have no transportation. If it is possible they will find a way.
But it is not only the volunteers. The community that uses this organization could not be more grateful. While I went into this wanting to give of myself I find I have received more than I feel I have given. The hugs and the thanks from people fighting to survive in hard economic times has moved me more than I could have imagined.

I am involved in the Northampton Area Food Bank as a Board Member and a volunteer. Growing up in Northampton, our family did not have much money, but we always had sufficient food. Today I see many families who do not have enough food. The Food Bank provides nutritious food to support those in need. I am fortunate to have a good-paying full-time job, but if I lose that job, it's comforting to know that the NAFB is available. Management of the Food Bank is smooth and efficient, as well as cost-effective. Board members are dedicated and passionate about the operations of the Food Bank. I hear many clients express their gratitude and appreciation of all the volunteers.

My experiences at the Northampton Area Food Bank have been nothing short of excellent. As a volunteer, I have gained many memorable experiences that have helped shape my own beliefs. The staff is excellent - they are very organized and friendly, and we all enjoy the rewarding sense of having a positive impact on the local community. Another impressive feature of this organization is their dedication to be environmentally friendly. They recycle anything they can and invested in reusable bags instead of harmful plastic ones. Such a charitable and conscious organization has a fantastic impact on the community.

The food bank is a place where residents of the Northampton School Distruct and adjoining communities are able to receive food assistance each month. The food bank strives to give out to each client about a weeks worth of food which recently means they need over 14,500 items to mee the demand. The opportunity for me to assist them in receiving additional funds is worth taking the time to write a review and offer my help.

They feed over 1000 people each month and the funds are always in shprt supply to meet the ever growing demand.

Great place doing great work to help so many.
