Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Homeless & Housing, Housing & Shelter, Human Services, Job Training, Sheltered Employment, Vocational Rehabilitation
Mission: Provides adult day care and respite, employment services and supported community living services so that individuals with disabilities can live and work in the community.
Programs: Supported community living - supported living services address the desires, goals, strengths, abilities, needs, health, safety and life span issues of persons living in their own homes or apartments. Supported living services are provided in the home and community of the persons served and are designed to support their choice to live as independently as possible in the community.
personal and social community services - day habilitation and adult day health care services are designed to help people optimize their personal and social skills while participating in a variety of facility and community based activities and volunteer opportunities. Day habilitations services are provided to individuals with developmental and mental health disabilities in waterloo at our newel post facility and to individuals with traumatic brain injuries at our canterbury center in waterloo.
