Causes: Baseball & Softball, Sports
Mission: We run a competitive women's softball team. The individuals or members of this team received individualized instruction as well as the skills needed to play as a cohesive unit. Most members have their own equipment but there are times when the organization will buy equipment items on a when needed basis. Moneys are also used to defray the cost of league travel games and the accompanying costs of overnight stay.
Programs: To assist in the training and development of middle and high school age girls so that their level of play will be attractive to college recruiters. A total of 75 girls participated this year.
to teach the 75 girls that enrolled this year that team play, spirit and sportsmanship is essential for success in all fields, not just competitive sporting events.
this program introduces the girls to the world of diversity. A diversity not just defined by one's race but also by one's ability & attitude. All characteristics they will encounter as they travel through life.
