I am a very new member and very excited about this organization. It has done a fantastic job of reaching out to the arts in the community as well as serve as a resource for artists of all disciplines. The opportunities are there for as much participation as you can handle. I am confident that this group will grow and have a lasting mark in the community. The city of Suwanee is very fortunate to have such an organization as a partner. The calendar reflects lots of things to do, and act as a vehicle to show your personal work.
The website is still growing, and I expect that more timely information will be available soon. There needs to be a "bulletin board" to include the information submitted by email, including the monthly meeting information.

This is a great group of professional artists who are dedicated to bringing more knowledge of art to the public. This happens through exhibitions, demonstrations, and educational opportunities such as workshops and classes. The President of the association is a real dynamo and keeps everyone excited and involved. It is such a pleasure to be associated with this group.

The North Gwinnett Arts Asociation is exactly what I had been looking for! I am an artist living in Suwanee, GA, and had been searching for a group of fellow artists for quite a while when I came across this association.
I did a little research, and joined right away. This is a fantastic group of artists with varied interests and talents. I have been a member for less than a year, and I've already learned a lot, and had many opportunities presented to me through this association that I would not have otherwise found.
I would (and do!) highly recommend the NGAA to anyone in the area interested in learning about all things art from this vast group of professionals. And a special kudos to the President, Vickie Johnson, as she does an outstanding job!

I've been with this group since before it became the NGAA. I must say that, amidst the kudos for it's current exposure of LOCAL ARTISTS to the LOCAL public and the great things that have come from this, this group has a deep rooted philanthopical purpose. The means to that purpose is the local events which benefit the artists and the public. We have had tremendous support in our opening year and, with that continued support and growth, our goals of working with autistic adults / supporting programs like Annandale Village & others will not only be realized but will provide the true blessing that comes with sharing of yourself with others. With artists in particular - you must really wonder if the students can possibly get as much out of it as the giving artist gets from 'giving' of their time & talent.
I left one star open in my rating - I have reserved it to be filled when our programs are all up and running! If you're not a part of the NGAA already, you can help fill the last star! You WILL be blessed!

A wonderful organization that provides both an outlet for local artists and brings the arts to the general public.
