behavioral health and wellness clinic: article 31 clinic to provide assistance to individuals in lewis county. Bhwc provides comprehensive mental health services to individuals who have mental health concerns, behavior problems, emotional distress, and co-occurring disorders. It is a nys office of mental health licensed outpatient clinic. Clients are screened, evaluated and treated based on their individual needs. Services provided at the bhwc include psychiatric evaluation/assessments and medication management, group therapy for adults and children, individual therapy for adults and children, couples counseling, family therapy, psycho educational sessions and support groups. 13,009 visits.
home and community based waiver services: services include intake and screening, assessment of needs and service plan development, respite care, family support and crisis response. Approx. 38 clients served.
other programs including mobile crisis services, children and youth residential services, supportive housing, case management, veteran's services, advantage after school programs and property management.
