Mission: The purposes of the nccac are to identify the causes and effects of poverty in the community as designated by the board of trustees, and to obtain funds to develop and implement programs, projects and activities which impact the causes and reduce the effects of poverty. Such programs, projects and activities may include but not be limited to weatherization, shelter for the homeless, low and moderate income housing, senior programs, early childhood education, emergency and energy assistance, legal aid, community and economic development, and others which promote support and opportunity for low-income and disadvantaged person.
Programs: Provide services consisting of individual assistance that is funded by federal, state, and non-government agencies. These programs are administered in a tri-county area in central washington.
