In 2016, the council held separate business opportunity fairs in minnesota, wisconsin and iowa.
certifications - this program provides minority business enterprises (mbe's) with valuable resources to help their businesses grow and succeed. The certification program provides an opportunity for mbe's to meet with corporate buyers interested in working with other qualified mbe's. In addition, the certification program offers many formal and informal venues to meet with corporate buyers, learn about state and local opportunities, and expand professional networks. During 2016, there were approximately 300 active certifications.
