Mission: The purpose of the foundation shall be to receive and hold the endowment of the north carolina symphony society, incorporated (the "society") and solicit additions to the endowment, safeguard endowment assets in a manner consistent with prudent investment of endowment funds, and expend endowment income and capital for the exclusive use and benefit of the society.
