Programs: Nc inmates: provide legal assistance to nc prisoners in order to ensure that the prisoners have constitutionally adequate access to the courts.
safe and humane jails project: provide legal advice and assistance to pre-trial detainees, monitor conditions in jails, and ensure those conditions are safe and humane.
vital project: a project to complie data on and track juvenile offenders serving life without the possibility of parole and to compile data on and analyze offenders who are serving life without parole, parole eligible life and life equivalent sentences.
