Mission: The organizations mission is to promote the areas apple industry by providing support to local apple growers and organizing an annual apple festival over labor day week-end.
Programs: The organization the ncaf estimates that this years apple festival drew approximately 230,000 visitors from all over the us and that the festivals street fair injects an estimated 12,000,000 into the local economy annually. In support of the local apple growers, the ncaf provides a free booth at the festival to fifteen apple growers for them to promote and sell fresh apples,as well as other apple products. The ncaf also provides an annual scholarship to local students based on the students research and oral presentations on the local apple industry.
