Mission: To provide nutritious meals to seniors, the homebound, and the disabled in northern onondaga county, new york and to advocate for their overall well-being.
Programs: North area meals on wheels, inc. Prepares and delivers approximately 450 well-balanced meals daily to elderly and homebound individuals living in northern onondaga county and foster other services of benefit to such persons. Total meals prepared and served exceeds 115,000 for the year. The meals are prepared by volunteer cooks managed by a kitchen and program manager. The meals are delivered daily to homes by volunteer drivers.
