Mission: The mission of North America Chinese Educational Foundation is to pool its resources and expertise to improve Chinese community educational excellence. The activities of the North America Chinese Educational Foundation will build and strengthen educational programs for gifted, underrepresented students, instill in students an appreciation for their interrelated roles in communities, and facilitate the connection between Chinese community and mainstream societies.
Programs: North American Chinese Educational Foundation (NACEF) is organized to promote and support education and cultural exchange between the U.S. and China. Specifically, it will (1) raise funds to support primary schools and their students in China's poverty-stricken areas; NACEF along with Chinese Youth Development Foundation(CYDF) and Association of Chinese Students and Scholars at Stanford (ACSSS) launched the Event: China Project Hope - Fund Raising in North America. (2) set up student exchange programs for college students between the U.S. and China; (3) help American corporations set up scholarships in qualified Chinese universities; and (4) support Chinese-American community educational programs in the U.S.
