Mission: No kill nation, inc, is a national no kill advocacy /education/ animal shelter reform organization dedicated to ending the systematic and needless killing of shelter animals in our county/city, tax-funded animal shelters though various educational outreach programs and ongoing support to shelter reformists nationwide.

Programs: For several years no kill nation, inc has been the premier sponsor to the 2-day national no kill conference in partnership with the no kill advocacy center and the george washington school of law in washington, dc. In 2014 and in lieu of the 2-day event in one location, nkn and nkac embarked on a 30 city screening tour of the film redemption, written by the executive director of the no kill advocacy center, nathan winograd. The entire tour was funded by no kill nation, inc. Redemption is an educational documentary on the history of the no kill movement in america. As part of our 2014 tour offering a workshop and/or seminar followed the film presentation.

in 2011 'redemption: the story of the no kill movement in america' produced by sagacity productions began filming. While the majority of the film was funded by one director of no kill nation, inc, the balance of the film's production costs were paid for by no kill nation inc. As mentioned above, the film began its 30 city tour in 2014. Redemption won 'best film audience award' at the san pedro international film festival in los angeles, ca.

each year no kill nation, inc offers sponsorship monies for the production of educational seminars, conferences, and workshops. These sponsorships afford regional advocacy groups and/or organizations the opportunity to reach their local advocates, animal shelter/animal control directors, managers and city/county officials who otherwise not have the opportunity to attend conferences and seminars featuring our county's no kill expert speaker guests. In spite of the large expenses associated with the film production and tour, no kill nation, inc also sponsored the michigan pet funs alliance's no kill conference once again in 2014.

in addition to the educational seminars, conferences and workshops, no kill nation, inc. Offers consultancy and support services to no kill advocates, and no kill groups nationwide guiding them through all aspects of animal shelter reform. Using the no kill advocacy center's "no kill equation" model we are afforded the opportunity to teach others out of our area how to implement the "equation" for measurable shelter reform results: live outcomes of 90% and more, thereby saving all healthy and treatable animals in municipal open admission shelters nationwide.
