Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The mission of the nexus club is to emphasize to young ladies the importance of values such as character, integrity, sportsmanship, self discipline and community involvement through the sport of golf. Strong values empower lifetime success. Our planned activities include fund raising for charities that are aligned with our vision and help underprivileged girls, as well as those that lack opportunity, to participate in the game of golf. All qualified charitable organizations will have irs 501(c)3 status. It is our goal to provide such an opportunity in order to teach life values to young ladies in an effort to strengthen their ability to succeed in life.
Programs: Our specific activities will include arranging and managing golf tournaments, with a specific focus on an annual lpga event to be held in the north texas region, and benefitting the lpga-usga girls golf of dallas. As supporting events, the nexus club will also work to host proam, collegiate, and even high school tournaments, as well as instructional camp days. Other supporting events may include things such as a happy hour at various golf clubs, fashion shows, trunk shows etc. Our members will volunteer to work the events and make them a success. We see our model operating much like many other lpga tournament locations that are managed by the local 501(c)3 for the particular region (phoenix, arkansas, etc).
