Mission: The new york children's theater festival (nyctf) serves to connect artists and industry professionals who are passionate about creating theatrical experiences and productions for children. The nyctf will foster critical awareness for the art form, in addition to providing professional development and enrichment opportunities for those dedicated to the craft of creating new works for young audiences. As well as presenting new works, the nyctf will also provide resources and services that will support artists in their work to develop and inspire the next generation of theatergoers.
Programs: New york children's theater festival is dedicated to the development of theater for youth and features three new works of theater for youth over the course of three weekends reaching over 1,000 audience members. The new york children's theater festival provides winning participating organizations (including theater companies) the resources to mount a production in new york city including venue for performance, press and marketing materials, discounted rehearsal space, discounted hotel accommodations, and other production needs such as technical equipment.
