Causes: Health, Heart & Circulatory System Diseases & Disorders
Mission: The mission of the new york cardiac center is to be a part of the ongoing effort to diagnose and prevent heart and other diseases. We help to develop treatment for those who need it and assist in training new scientists, educators, and physicians. We're committed to improving a person's chances of living a full and healthy life. To do so we commit our resources to innovative projects in research, education and treatment.
Programs: New york cardiological society, new york chapter/american college of cardiology in association with new york cardiac center: five educational programs for cardiologists were funded and presented during 2017 with the objective of improving cardiac care.
yale university in association with new york cardiac center:continued our sponsorship of research into transimmunization as a result of which significant insights have been gained into the unlocking mechanism of antigen presentation and recognition by the immune system.
during 2017, new york cardiac center awarded 8 scholarships to outstanding students attending the following institutions; nyu, cornell, duke, george washington, mit, the university of michigan, and boston university.
