Mission: To improve the health of both land and sea by means of conservation and habitat stewardship.
Programs: Becoming an outdoor woman is a program introducing women to various outdoor recreational activities such as hunting, fishing and clamming. The program was so successful that it will be expanded in 2018.
the ocean reef foundation paid for the sinking of the f/v mt. Siani and the deployment of material to establish a new reef in state waters. The projects were done in cooperation with the new jersey division of fish and wildlife fishing and will provide future opportunities for the recreational salt water fisherman.
partnered with the landis sewage authority to restore quail habitat in cumberland county. The objective is to improve the habitat and reintroduce quail from a wild source once the habitat is up to standard. Approximately 1800 acres are expected to be restored.
