Programs: Residential services - persons residing in one of new hope's twelve group homes receives assistance with activities of daily living such as cooking, clothing care, budgeting, and planning social/recreation activities in the community. In each of these programs, participants are successfully integrating with their communities.
developmental training - approximately 190 persons with developmental disabilities participate in this program, based at two sites. Training in the areas of self-care, academics, activities of daily living, socialization, communication, gross and fine motor skill enhancement, recreation, and vocational services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual.
special recreation services - pooling resources with park districts to provide therapeutic recreation and leisure options for the developmentally disabled
