Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: The organization's primary exempt purpose is to provide leadership to and education of parents in support of the well being and development of all children and youth in new hampshire and to encourage parental involvement in their child's education.
Programs: A convention and parent involvement summit were held for approximately 300+ parents and teachers. Speakers. Presentations and workshops on health and education issues affecting children were offered.
scholarships area awarded to three full time students choosen from the four new hampshire state colleges and two high school seniors. Students must be education majors and planning to teach. A committee selects winners based on academic acheivement and need.
non cash awards, plaques, certificates and ribbons are given out to students throughout the state of nh as part of encouraging creativity. This program is call reflections and is run at the national and state levels of pta. This program allows the recognition of individual student acheivements in a themed category each year that supports art, literacy, music and technology.
