Mission: The new hampshire bar foundation promotes philanthropy dedicated to ensure that all people in new hampshire, especially those with limited means, are able to understand and participate fully in the justice system. The bar foundation serves as the unique charitable institution for members of the new hampshire bar association and others who wish to make financial gifts in the spirit of "honoring the law. "
Programs: Iolta grant awards to new hampshire nonprofit organizations and/or programs under the guidelines of the nh supreme court, rule 50: 1. For the support of civil legal services to the disadvantaged2. For public education relating to the courts and legal matters3. The foundation received $1,039,272 from a lawsuit settlement which has been fully awarded to new hampshire nonprofit organizations.
