I found NEER North online several years ago, and was intrigued by their mission, which is set apart from other rescues. I started fostering from them back in 2021, and fell in love with NEER North even more. Fast forward to now, I adopted a horse from them - the adoption process was thorough which I liked, because it means that they truly care about each and every equine and where they end up. Did I mention they follow their horses for life? I have yet to find another rescue that is committed to their horses forever. Now I have the privilege of working with the equines at NEER North, and I couldn't love NEER more. They are truly set apart - they hold themselves to the highest of standards, and advocate for equines safety, well-being and happiness, every time. If you are looking for a reputable rescue to visit, adopt, foster or donate to, look no further. NEER North is hands down the best!

Where can I start.
The team at NEER gets so much done with what they have to work with. supported by a group of unbelievable volunteers they house, rehab and care for horses, donkeys and minis. The occasional goat as well.
This is truly a fully volunteer supported organization,. Come rain or shine, twice a day, teams are working to care of the animals. It‘s work, but meaningful work!

You can feel it the moment you step on the grounds. An amazing group of ordinary people there just to care and offer their love and support for a really diverse group of stall mates, who through no fault of their own, find themselves in the NEER halfway house. There they are well cared for, loved, and sent on to a better life. An amazing soul quenching experience.

I've been a volunteer at NEER for over a decade and seen amazing transformations in the lives of rescued horses and donkeys in pretty bad shape with past lives that no animal should have to bear. Helping to care for these animals and playing a small role in restoring their health, trust, spirit, and chances for happy lives in loving, adoptive homes is a privilege. At NEER, the welfare of our rescues always comes first. It's a well-run organization supported by an extraordinary community of staff, volunteers, professionals, and donors who share the common goal of saving at-risk equines and assisting owners in need.

I've been a NEER volunteer for over a decade. My weekly shift at the barn is a chance to do something good for beautiful, soulful animals who deserve a better chance in life. I value the friends I've made at NEER who share my love of animals and peculiar affinity for the sweet smell of horse sweat! Mucking, feeding, hauling hay, and filling water buckets are not glamorous tasks, but being able to participate in our rescues' journeys toward readiness for adoption is richly rewarding. NEER North founder and president Mary Martin works diligently to match each rescue with the ideal adoptive family. Her knowledge and lifelong dedication to horse rescue is an inspiration to all of us.

NEER North would qualify for the extraordinary award. Desmond Tutu famously said, "Your ordinary acts of love and hope point to the extraordinary promise that every human life is of inestimable value." Let's substitute "Your ordinary acts of love" with "NEER's ordinary acts of love" and "human life" with "equine life." I adopted six equines from NEER and the heartbeat of my life is thus in synch with NEER's mission. The NEER team of employees, volunteers, and service providers go well beyond the extra mile for a mission that's not always easy and certainly isn't motivated by the thirst for fame or profit. Instead, NEER's heart beats with a strength and optimism that has a lasting and positive effect on the lives of humans and equines alike. Extraordinary, yes.

A few years ago we saw a horse posted on FB , one of those heading-to-slaughter nightmares. Well, she'd last raced at Suffolk Downs! We were horrified: Suffolk had, and enforced, an anti-slaughter policy! That race was five years before, though, and the next five years were a mystery, but we banded together and got the bail. Now, what next? We didn't have a stall! The answer: NEER ! NEER took this mare in without question, took wonderful care of her for over four more years, kept impeccable records of her health, and had her looking great! Then suddenly (and sadly, of course) I had an empty stall. My 31yo mare passed away suddenly, and her daughter and pasturemate was distraught. I called NEER, and - presto! - Zella arrived the next day. Now over a year later, the two mares are bonded, and spend their days in green pasture, with nothing to do but accept carrots from admirers and pose for photos! Thank you NEER for being there when we all needed you!

Over two years ago I adopted a horse from NEER N, that was being trained here in Maine at Horses With Hope. I can't say enough good about both rescues- from time of application to delivery to my farm- the process was handled with courtesy, transparency, and professionalism.
The biography on Wonder was very accurate and informative. While "rescues" past history may be very limited (Wonder was in a Missouri Kill-pen when he was under 10), and they may have special needs and extra baggage, NEER is very upfront about what they have determined about each horse.
Wonder is a wonderful mount: calm, well-trained, affectionate, without any vices or medical issues. With over 50 years of horse ownership, he is definitely on the short-list of my favorites.
I've renamed him Wonder Why ? , because it's a mystery why such a lovely horse spent time in a kill-pen.
Without hesitation, I would recommend you support NEER N in any way that you can !
Thanks, Lisa

NEER North is the most transparent, up front, and knowledgable equine rescue I have ever encountered! I adopted my haflinger, Marvel, from them in August 2020. Founder Mary Martin was forthcoming will all of Marvel's quirks and insecurities and was dedicated to ensure a placement for him was safe, healthy and mutually beneficial. NEER North didn't give up on the fearful Marvel when many others did - they kept him in their care and training for almost 2 years before helping him turn the page to a new outlook on life and his human caretakers. Now, two years into his time with me, Marvel has established himself as a confident member of our backyard herd. I love that NEER continues to check in on him and on all adopted equines to ensure that the animals they place are continually looked after. They are an extremely well-established fixture of the north shore and they have saved countless equine lives due to their tenacity, dedication and high expectations for equine care and management. I started my volunteer work at NEER, February 2022, and in all honesty it is one of the best experiences I have ever had. My job description is barn chores, which at the minimum consists of feeding and watering the horses, donkeys and the two sheep, mucking, refilling hay bags and stacking hay bales for the next shift. However the job is even much more than this. Every worker at NEER I'm sure has much more experience than I with this environment, and everyone has offered me advice and taught me so much about horses and donkeys and given me great advice on different ways to work around the barn, grounds, and eith the animals. This has always been done in an upbeat, friendly and most respectful way. The respect and caring that everyone shows towards each other as well as towards every animal is truly wonderful. Everyone pitches in and helps out wherever help is needed. I feel so very fortunate that they took a chance on me and let me join their volunteer team. It's just a great place to work.

NEER’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome horses and other equines. They provide extraordinary care and training for horses and work hard to match them with forever homes. Many of the horses are off the track and others came to NEER because their previous owners fell on hard times and can no longer care for them. Some ended up at NEER because they need specialized medical care or diets. Watching the horses learn to trust humans and come into their best selves is an amazing gift. NEER’s trainers really understand horse behavior and care.
NEER’s day to day horse care is almost entirely volunteer run. The community of volunteers is made up of the kindest and most welcoming folks. I never thought I would look forward to a weekly shift of scooping manure from pastures but it’s often the best part of my week because of my interactions with the horses, volunteers, and staff.

I am relatively new to NEER but I am so incredibly in aww of how much Mary Martin has dedicated her life to saving these equines. Just in the time that I have been there, she has taken in a horse and a mule that were gong to be euthanized! . She took a chance on them ( their last chance) and one has already been adopted ( he ended up being an absolute sweetheart) and the other is doing so much better with the help of an excellent trainer. Often times these horses come in scared both emotionally and physically because of people not doing right by them. Many of them are old and just need a home where they can live out the rest of their lives in peace surrounded by as much love as they can get! Mary matches these horse up with homes that she knows will provide this much needed TLC and continues to check in on them to make sure they are safe and happy many years later. Mary gives them that soft landing that so many of them need and so deserve. Many horses that come in need medical care and she makes sure that they receive that care with the help of excellent veterinarian’s that go above and beyond as well as farriers that work at correcting the horses hooves that have been neglected for far to long! We have two amazing trainers that come and work with these horses to make sure that they are safe and ready to find their forever homes. We have a chiropractor that donates her time as well. I cannot forget to mention the volunteers. They really are the glue that holds NEER together. They are absolutely incredible and NEER would not be able to keep the doors open if it wasn’t for these wonderful people! They dedicate their time because they love these beautiful animals and just want to help them! They show up for their shift no matter if it is pouring rain or a nasty snowstorm not to mention frigid temperatures. They truly are incredible and so appreciated! There is so much that goes in to running a successful and legitimate horse rescue and Mary has managed to make NEER one of the best horse rescues in New England (in my opinion) on a very limited budget. Please consider donating to this wonderful organization so that Mary and the rest of her team at NEER can continue to help these amazing animals.

I've been with NEER as a volunteer for 5 years and seen the transformation that can take place when you give a horse/equine love, understanding and time for growth. Horses don't work with the human concept of time and NEER truly allows for their recovery and healing. This nonprofit is dedicated to ending the kill pen cycle, following up with our equines and educating the public. Prior to COVID we offered lots of opportunities for the public to learn about our program, horses and how others can help and what it means to rescue responsibly.

If you donate to this organization, you will know exactly where your dollars are going. Every intake is thoroughly evaluated and is given every opportunity to heal both mentally and physically before they are adopted. Adopters are vetted and approved, matched with the appropriate equine and are informed of any health or behavioral issues prior to adoption. NEER stands by their alumni by following them for life, allowing them back if the need arises.

I began volunteering with NEER North in the fall of 2019. Let me say first and foremost, that this is 100% the most honest, upfront, transparent rescue you could ever hope to adopt a new equine partner from. Fully upfront about as much of a horses past they know, their entire time at the rescue, quirks, special needs, loves, and their potential - this is the place you hope to find when looking for your forever partner. Not only do they take in horses in the community and surrounding areas that need help wether they are starved, neglected, abused...but they also take in horses, ponies and donkeys from community members that are no longer able to care for their four legged friend due to ailing heath, death, or loss of income. They also actively fund multiple families in the community with their Feed Fund to keep beloved equines in their long term homes - all of this is done by a completely volunteer run rescue. Fundraising, daily horse care, even the chiropractic care is donated and facilitated by individuals who love and believe in what NEER North and Mary Martin are doing for the horse community at large.

NEER North is simply the best! How many other rescues are 100% honest in assessing horses to potential adopters? How many others have a 100% return policy? How many others have the large number of long-time volunteers that NEER North does?
I’m proud of being able to say that I’m a volunteer there.

I started volunteering at Neer in November of 2019. I walked in not realizing the magnitude of services the rescue provides. There are so many resources and contacts that have been offered to the equine community through Neer North. It plays a vital part in helping to insure at risk horses and donkeys receive the best possible care and placement if necessary. I admire and respect the dedication of all those people who give of their time and various resources. In these tough times the rescue has had to find creative ways to keep things going as Neer continues to experience the same struggles as the rest of our society. Donations have been drastically effected by the pandemic. Neer is a god send to those in need.

Throughout the past year that I have been volunteering at NEER North I have been able to witness the incredible work they do first hand. This rescue works hard to give any neglected horse exactly what they need to thrive and find their new home. The staff and volunteers at NEER work tirelessly to ensure each horse goes off to their perfect home. Because of thoughtful donors, these horses are able to get regular chiropractic adjustments. While at NEER, the horses have access to top notch veterinarians and farriers who will do anything to resolve potential injuries or lameness so that all the horses are feeling their best. Mary Martin and everyone else at NEER North truly loves and cares about each horse (on the property or not).

This rescue is amazing. I have worked with NEER North for 5 years now and have planned, organized, hosted and executed more fundraising events for them then I even care to count. All the proceeds that I have raised, have 100% gone back into helping these animals. For the love of rescue, horses and Mary Martin I will continue to do my part. I have seen first hand the transformations of these animals from starving, neglected and fearful creatures to the happy, healthy, loved members of new families that they so deserve. For them, this would never have been possible without NEER North and the wonderful team of volunteers and donors who come together to help them.

NEER North changes the lives of every equine lucky enough to come through the barn doors. Every one of them is handled with the utmost care and given everything they need to be successfully adopted into a well vetted, loving home. If for some reason an owner can't continue to care for their NEER alumni, they are always welcomed back into this safe and nurturing environment.

I have been actively volunteering at NEER for a almost a year now and can’t say enough good things about them!
NEER brings in horses that may have been abused, malnourished, or simply could no longer be cared for. These horses may come in with their spirts broken and not a lot, if any, of trust. Because of NEER, these horses have a safe haven where they don’t have to worry about any of that. Seeing these horses improve both physically and mentally, each and every day, is the most rewarding thing about being a volunteer. These horses (and ones that have been adopted out) wouldn’t be where they are today without Mary and NEER North❤️
Arguably the best rescue in MA and I’m proud to be a volunteer for them!

It’s clear the person who posted the one-star review does not have any idea what goes on at this rescue. New England Equine Rescue is very transparent with their books and their spending. I have been volunteering at this rescue for four years. Our volunteers do all of our fundraising and do it very well. The money we raise has paid for new water hydrants, a much-needed roof for the barn, repairs to our tack shop, fencing, gravel, shelters, heated water buckets, etc. It also goes towards vet bills, farrier care, expensive hay shipments, grain and shavings. Not one penny is wasted. This past year, we have more than tripled the number of horses coming into the rescue. We have also had to turn away many because we simply don’t have enough space or the funds to take them all in which is heartbreaking for all of us. This organization is run better than most businesses and I, personally, have been told this on a regular basis. Do not let one disgruntled, uninformed, short-time, former volunteer ruin the name of this wonderful organization. Reach out with any questions or concerns to Neernorth.org.

If you're looking for a horse from an rescue that cares this is the place. They work to place horses in appropriate homes to keep them from coming back to them but will take them back if it doesn't work. They will put in the work and training to make a horse adoptable instead of sending them out untrained. Always an open book about not only the horses but finances as well, a very frugal organization.

NEER North is the Best! I’ve volunteered there for over 10 years and plan to be there at least another 10. It’s a place where miracles happen. Mary Martin is diligent in her efforts to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome horses and gives her all to save as many horses as she has room for in West Newbury. We see horses that no one would think were adoptable, but who end up healthy and safe in their forever homes.
Whether it’s a horse, a donkey, a mule, or even a sheep, they are fortunate if they find themselves at NEER North. They will be well-cared for, given the necessary training, and doted on by volunteers until they find their new home.

While other places are turning away NEER North is taking in and finding wonderful homes for these horses, ponies and donkeys. Not only do they take them in but work to make them healthy, sound and evaluated before placement to insure a good match. If the rescue is full and an owner is in need they will help with the feed fund they have set up and will network with the hope of finding a home. I volunteered for NEER for several months last year. Their dedication to the animals is obvious. I know they've since changed locations, and so I can't vouch for the new location, but at the old location the horses had several different pastures they were circulated through, and each was very different from the others. I think this was great. I now volunteer for a different horse rescue on the other side of the country, and the horses all have relatively boring pastures (it is grassland here after all), but I can't help but think the environment at NEER is more pleasant for the horses! I definitely recommend NEER, your donations will go very far here.

I learned about NEER north from my aunt who is a volunteer. She led me to a horse that they had there that had been to the brink of death and back. She was a huge mare with a lot of potential but even bigger baggage. Although I wasn't looking at the time for a new horse I truly believe Asha found me. As a professional in this sport( I am a trainer who owns a large equestrian facility). I understand the amount of love, hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and money that goes into a foundation such as NEER. I couldn't recommend a better facility. I currently house three of NEErs graduates, one of which I am training for NEER and two of my own. These people are the one in a millions. They are angels and we need more of them in this world. I couldn't picture my life without my little ( or not so little at 17+ hands) Asha girl.

It was clear the staff at NEER North absolutely love the equines they care for. Honesty and Integrity. This is not someone's feel good project to boost their ego but an active support system in the equine community. Horses and other equines are re-integrated into the horse community actively; not only being cared for but through participation in local equine events. Their feed fund and assistance to those in hardship is is diplomatic and appreciated by many more than one would think. Many owners have been able to weather the storm and still keep their horses once a new job is found or an illness has passed. Fosters include active barns and riders. For those equines who can be only pasture buddies their sponsors keep them active even if cannot be ridden and the fosters are active in finding them their forever homes as well. If a situation does not work out NEER is not afraid of re starting the process. This is a rescue with purpose and goals to not only save but to rehabilitate and rehome and prevent suffering before a situation evolves to a necessary rescue. They have helped horses on the brink of death scoring 0 on the scale to good health and permanent homes and most importantly returned them to having purpose.

NEER NORTH SHOULD BE A MODEL AS TO WHAT AN EQUINE RESCUE SHOULD BE.

NEER North is a member of the community and serves the community.

The horses and donkeys they work with, and for, are not just stockpiled but cared for as part of an equine farm being worked with, cared for, and helped in regaining trust and training. They use experience in placing horses in a winning situation with the objective it will be a forever home and not just placing to open a space.
You will not find the ego or bravado that can be found at other rescues but honest and genuine caring for those in need and not just for the equine but also the owner.

NEER North has a feed fund to help owners in need.

NEER North has a community out-reach program to help owners in need responsibly home a horse with a new owner before a horse is a surrender to a rescue or if there is no rescue with room to a sale yard. There is much more they would like to do but their funds can only be stretched so far. They know their priority and that is the horse.

NEER North is proactive. Their people are compassionate. Their leadership is wise. They are also sometimes heartbroken at the reality there are so many horses they cannot help.

NEER North's leadership and volunteers are not in it for the praise, compliments, publicity or glory. If they were there would be publicity about nights spent on a cot in a barn during a blizzard or sitting at the head of an aged donkey comforting her as she began the journey to the Rainbow Bridge. NEER North is there to protect and care for the equine in distress, in danger, or in need with no other agenda.

NEER North defines how a rescue should be and I cannot thank them enough.

The rescue helps horses and horse owners in need; offering many solutions not limiting solutions to re-homing of equines, when often someone is just having a rough patch and needs a helping hand. The rescue provides opportunities to volunteer and offers a children's program. The way the rescue keeps in touch with fosters and adoptees and checks on the animals is why I picked 5 stars- "far exceeds). This is an amazing rescue who not only looks out for the animals, it takes care of the people involved! We love their honesty, compassion and enthusiasm! We rescued a pony from them last year who has been an amazing addition to our family! They were very clear about what to expect from the pony and what she needs. We need more people like those who staff NEERNorth in this world!

Several years ago I had never heard of horse rescue groups. Then I met an amazing woman, who with a staff of volunteers, created NEER North, a horse rescue facility. I went there and was impressed with all that they did there on a shoestring budget.
Not only did they take in as many horses, donkeys and mules as they could handle, but they also supplied hay and grain to owners who were struggling to keep their horses.

The amazing woman was Mary Martin, founder of NEER NORTH. I believe this wonderful woman, her volunteers and their rescue organization deserves to be recognized for the hard work they do. These people give their hearts and souls to the animals they help.

Mary Martin and Caroline Matteson are two of the most dedicated, caring people I have ever had the privilege to know. The work they do at NEER North is amazing. The difference they make in the lives of the horses they rescue cannot be measured. They work tirelessly to help as many horses and donkeys as humanly possible. Without places like NEER, many more horses would be suffering. We need to give them as much support as we can.

NEER North is run by very loving and caring staff, takes excellent care of the horses and does a great deal to help horse owners. I was an original board member of New England Equine Rescues, so I've seen what Mary and her staff have done to start and grow NEER North. I love seeing the "Where's Boo" pictures, as well as information on all of the events to help raise funds and awareness. A great rescue, and a great resource.

NEER North is a wonderful rescue. As an equine artist with a great interest in using my art to help horses, I am honored to help Mary. I have visited the rescue, done fundraisers with Mary, and seen her and her volunteers work miracles to help their animals. I have the highest regard for what she is doing and accomplishing.

I am very proud of NEER North and all that this rescue does to help horses and horse owners in need. They offer many free ways to help and also maintain a feed fund to help struggling owners get through rough patches. Along with free website ads for horse owners trying to place their horses. NEER North has a great network to help with shipping, reference checking, and so much more. Community oriented too!

I have visited NEER North on several occasions and found it to be a very happy place indeed - for horses and humans (and dogs, cats etc. LOL) Mary has always been very welcoming and willing to help out another rescue with advice or an extra blanket. NEER's free grain and hay program for those in need speaks of this groups generous and creative programs to help all horses - not just the ones in their own loving care. I hope to go back and visit there very soon:)!!

NEER North is a wonderful organization that puts so much time and energy into their rescue efforts. Not only do they take great care of their rescues, but work hard to fundraise and reach out to the community to educate people about horse neglect and abuse. Keep up the good work

I've had the immense pleasure of working with NEER North for several years now, in the capacity of four-time foster mom, donor, and most recently, as the ecstatic adoptive mom of Shay pony. As owner of a large equine facility, I am fortunate to be able to choose from many organizations to partner with, but there are none better for rescue work than Mary, Caroline and staff at NEER North. Not only is their work in rescue and rehab superb, but they are also superior in finding the right homes for animals in their care. The time and effort they take to make sure the adoptions are sucessful and correctly matched, is an integral part of their rescue equation. There is just not enough room to write all the kudos I'd like to give this group! Keep up the great work and THANK YOU for allowing me to share in your wonderful organization!

NEER North has helped our mini horse rescue group find homes and has helped house them when we had no fosters available. Mary had the vet and farrier there before I had a chance to call them myself...she runs a great rescue and should be commended for her vigilance in caring for and finding homes for horses who are no longer able to be cared for by owners who find themselves in a bind in this economy. Hats off to Mary and her gang. Would recommend them highly.

I have the utmost confidence in NEER North and Mary Martin -- in regard to horse welfare. I've known Mary since ~2008 and her commitments to daily horse welfare and also to legislative efforts to prohibit horse slaughter for human consumption are true and strong. Mary succeeds in these two essential 'worlds' of horse welfare, where many struggle to succeed in one.
Thru it all, the horses come first. Maybe it's magic, but Mary makes it look easy. It’s wonderful to know that horses have an angel in Mary. Thanks, Mary!

NEER North is a wonderful organization with very committed and dedicated volunteers. Mary and Caroline do an amazing job, they make running this rescue look easy. This rescue is a labor of love for both women as well as all the wonderful volunteers that clean and care for the horses in their care. 100% volunteer, their tireless efforts are rewarded when an equine thrives and moves on to a loving adoptive home. This rescue deserves the support of everyone in the equine community.

New England Equine Rescue-North Inc. (NEER) is a fabulous organization that is addressing a serious issue on the North Shore. A typical horse has a life-span of more than 20 years and will have several owners over the course of her life. While most will find owners who love and cherish them, some will fall victim to abuse, neglect, or even death at a slaughter plant. NEER takes in homeless horses and finds them loving homes. They also speak out against cruelty to horses including horse slaughter and offer regularly their expertise to prevent cruelty before it happens. We are very fortunate to have such a compassionate, effective organization working to protect horses on the North Shore!

NEER North is by far the most outstanding nonprofit I've ever had the privilege to work with. They are the most caring and dedicated group of people I know. Their assistance goes beyond the norm and have helped me in many, many situations. They were instrumental in helping me with an equine abuse case in the courts, and then with three other rescues I have done. I could not have done them without their help and they have continued to "keep on giving". They are tireless and so dedicated I get tired just watching them. Godspeed to them and their work.

If you looked up the word volunteer in the dictionary it would read: A person who freely offers to take part in an enterprise or undertake a task. A person who works without being paid. I have been to the "barn" at NEER and am amazed at the amount of work it takes to keep it running smoothly and efficiently. Caroline Matterson should be commended for her tireless fundraising, promotional expertise, website work and organizational skills. She inspires me to do more in my life.

I have donated to NEER North both monetarily and with goods - hay, shavings, grain, blankets, donations to their tack sale. Mary Martin stretches a dollar like no one else. I know the animals lucky enough to be saved by her are in the best care and that she and the volunteers will find them the most suitable, forever homes. I have brought my 2 and 3 year old children to the farm to see the animals and they had a great time. I want to foster an awareness of the need for a rescue like this for future generations. When I have more time, I may open my personal barn to fostering.

I have been working with Neer North for several years. Mary Martin has always been helpful and generous. I move some of their animals for them, and have always been impressed with their kindness. The animals are always considered first. I would recommend checking them out if you are looking to adopt an animal.

NEER is a wonderful resource for hard-to-place horses, ponies and donkeys. Mary Martin, Caroline Matterson and their crew of loyal volunteers work tirelessly caring for the animals, fundraising, and helping the cause of equine rescue locally and throughout the area. We adopted a pony from NEER, and the experience could not have been better. My daughter would rather be at NEER volunteering, which she still does frequently, than any where else on Earth. NEER is run in a very professional manner, and is an excellent resource for horse rescue.

What can you say about an organization that is operated strictly by dedicated volunteers and runs like a well oiled machine? What about an organization where everyone leaves their egos outside the barn doors and enters with an open heart and kind soul? NEER North should be the model of how a non-profit should be run. I am so impressed by what they do!

I have been working with Mary from NEER North since before they were their own nonprofit. She is open and transparent to those who support NEER North. She is honest and trust-worthy and truly devoted to the animals. She wants to make a difference in her community and therefore acts to support and help those equines in need in her somewhat local area. She reaches out to other rescues and shares what she has. She believes in cooperation to help as many equines as possible. She feels that every equine has a loving home out there, some just take longer to find.
