Five stars in every way! Sensible, practical, compassionate, and true to their mission of helping horses and horse owners.
An amazing organization! Mary Martin and her wonderful volunteers are a blessing to these animals in need.
NEER North's president Mary Martin leads a dedicated group of volunteers who regularly go the extra mile to take care of the horses, donkeys, and ponies who arrive at our barn abused, starving, injured, neglected, abandoned, or at-risk of slaughter--all desperately needing a new chance for a happy life. My weekly shift as a volunteer brings me in touch with colleagues who share a love for animals and with beautiful equines who face each day with courage, patience, and grace, regardless of the pain and struggles they may have previously endured. Support for NEER North helps pay for the food, shelter, medicines, and veterinary care that help us carry out our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming equines in desperate need.
Nothing makes me happier then helping out and spending time on the farm!!!!
Just recently started volunteering here and could not be happier to help such a great organization! Everyone is very focused on both the physical AND mental aspects of rehabilitation so that these animals can leave healthier and happier than when they came.
Mary Martin rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes horses, donkeys and other farm animals! With a large volunteer following, these well adjusted animals have a new chance at a happy life!
A wonderful organization with volunteers who truly love spending time with the animals. No amount of snow can keep them away! Volunteering here is one of the highlights of my week.
New England equine rescue north does an amazing amount of work not only with their rescue horses but within the community as well to help people maintain their farms and their horses at home through a feed fund on very limited resources. All of the horses that enter the rescue are extremely well cared for and loved and the volunteers are some of the most dedicated that I have seen
Run by many thoughtful and truly caring individuals. Effort is an abundant quality throughout the volunteers and the animals quality of life is always put first. New, happy homes are constantly being found for the animals and Mary only picks the best ones! She would never give away an animal to an untrustworthy home. The animals happiness and health is always the top priority at NEER.
