I have adopted dogs from this rescue and couldn't be happier. This rescue goes out of their way to make sure that the dog is a good fit for your family but also a good fit for the dog. I would never think of reaching out to any other rescue when the time comes for our family to have another dog. Professionalism, sincere love of dogs and unwavering support from this rescue before, during and after an adoption is what sets this rescue apart from the rest. New England All Breed is simply the best!

Everyone who works in this rescue is very educated and efficient. They all have the dogs best interest in mind and they provide all the information they can about each animal in their care. The animals come first and this is how animal rescue should be. I have volunteered with this rescue and many others. Rescue isn't easy or do you ever make money through rescue. You're lucky if you break even. Any dog who is saved through this rescue is lucky. They will get the care they need and deserve. The application process protects the dogs. I highly recommend this rescue!

I adopted my dog from New England All Breed Rescue three years ago. Best decision we ever made! We love our dog so much and are so happy we adopted our dog from this organization.

The Director and her family are awesome! The volunteers are fabulous! You can see how much these dogs are loved while at the rescue and how well they are cared for.

As for the negative reviews that I have read about this organization, I am appalled. I know for a fact that the dogs that come into the rescue do receive vet care from "real" vets and not students. I actually had a question about my dogs vetting and I called the veterinary clinic to answer my question.

They certainly do not adopt out sick dogs. If a dog has a medical condition or issue, the issue is clearly explained to adopters as well as any long term treatment or veterinary care that the dog may need. I have personally witnessed this exchange on multiple occasions when I have dropped off donations to them.

This is a great organization that loves their dogs and wants to find them the best homes possible! Go to New England All Breed Rescue to adopt your new best friend! You'll be glad you did!

I just adopted a pug from New England All Breed Rescue. Every time I read a bad report about this rescue, it just reminds me that you can't please everybody!! The volunteers at NEABR have opened their hearts and homes to homeless dogs and cats, and I couldn't respect them any more for what they do. Dogs do not come with a "warranty" or a back story, after all, they can't tell us what they have been through. But I DO know that once they are taken in by this rescue, they have a chance at a new life. I couldn't be happier with the people that volunteer for this organization, and I wish more people with success stories would post their positive experiences. Everyone is quick to complain about a place, but not enough people spread positive news. I know many people who have found their best friends through New England All Breed Rescue, and I am one of them!

I have adopted two dogs through this organization and cannot speak highly enough about my experience with them. Completely dedicated people here. Do not be fooled by the other reviewers with bad attitudes, I believe they (if it's not all by the same person) are serving their own agendas here. You do not have to take my word for it...simply go look at their Facebook page under New England All Breed Rescue and see how many people LOVE this Rescue and how hard they work to save dogs! Or their website www.neabr.org. Yes, if you google their address, it looks like a big house. But anyone who has visited the actual place will tell you, it is absolutely FULL of happy dogs waiting for their new homes. Go look for yourself before you judge. Shame on you bad reviewers!

If I could have given them a less than 1 star rating I would have.

Just a warning -DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!! Trust me -just look elsewhere or YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!

The ad that they posted on petfinder that got your attention is probably full of lies.

This place needs to be put out of business. As does ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT which is another "non-profit" company they own to keep up the $500k house on 22 acres that they own. Check their taxes -their income for 2011 was close to $300,000!!! Nice for a "non-profit" all volunteer organization.

They are in it for the $$$ and once they have yours in the bank they are done with you.

The adoption ads are misleading. They get your $$ and you get a sick dog that is nothing like the description.

If you still want to adopt from them start by reading reviews, then ask them for contact phone #'s which they won't give you because once they have your $ they want you to go away. Then ask if you can have your vet examin the dog before the adoption goes through -they will say no because if you are allowed to do that you will find that the dog is ill and you won't want to pay $425 for it...

Just walk away from this place or you will regret it. Unless you like donating toward their bank account -someone has to pay for that $500,000 house they live in.

I feel horrible for the poor dogs that end up in the care of NEABR (New England All Breed Rescue -Thompson CT and RI & MA) They would be better off in a town shelter. That being said - RUN as far as you can from this "organization" and look elsewhere to adopt a dog. The only good reviews re: NEABR are reviews that they posted themselves. These women are selling sick dogs to unsuspecting people who are trying to do a good thing by adopting. They want your $ and once they have it and you have your new sick dog they pretend they've never heard of you. They won't return calls/emails. They don't care if you find yourself up to your ears in vet bills and best of all they won't want to hear about it when your dog dies from whatever illness it had that went untreated while it was in the care of NEABR. That's right -the dogs in their care never see a real vet. They go to a local vet school and let the students play Doctor on their dogs. These students are so green that they can't acurately guess a dogs age. I could go on and on and on about this crooked suspect organization. Just look elsewhere or trust me you will wish you had. They are doing things the illegal way. Some day the games they are playing with people will catch up with them. They are a lot of honest and reputable organizations to adopt a dog from in New England - NEABR is NOT one of them.

Organization: New England All Breed Rescue Inc
The brains behind it all -Founder: Kelly O'Brien needs your money to keep up her lavish 4 Bedroom:
3.5 Bathroom: 2900 sq ft house that is sitting on a 522,720 sq ft lot of land. - which is why they charge so much and never look back after they have your cash.

Two years ago I adopted my wonderful dog through this organization, but:
1) They never contacted me and did not check my references or living situation before approving the adoption
2) I was told a day before the dog's arrival that she has heartworms and that I can either withdraw my application or take her with understanding that she will be treated here at their cost.
3) I decided to take the dog and ended up paying $800 dollars for her treatment and not receiving any reimbursement. In the meantime there were many unanswered calls and outright lies on the part of their "representative". I considered taking them to court but then decided to let it go.
This is my personal experience - I have heard many other horror stories about this organization

Adopted two amazing dogs from NEABR this year. They are absolutley wonderful, and the rescue truly cares about them. Unlike some rescues, they don't look down on you if this is your first dog, you don't have a fully fenced yard, etc. They are willing to help you through every step of the adoption process, and every year of your dog's life after. Great people and great dogs, who strive towards giving you a forever best friend.
