Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Treatment
Mission: The mission of new directions for women is to save the lives of women of all ages, women with children and pregnant women affected by alcoholism, other addictions and related issues.
Programs: Operation of a private drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility to offer care grounded in the 12-steps of alcoholics anonymous and other related programs. Care is provided exclusively to women. Services offered include detox, residential rehabilitation, intensive sober living and outpatient services to women of all ages, women with dependent children and pregnant women. Patients with children are offered the opportunity to care for them directly at the residential facility if desired. The goal is to treat the whole woman in an affordable, yet beautiful sanctuary where she finds independence and suport while healing the wounds inflicted by addiction. The care focuses on transforming lives, focusing on the values of excellence, spirituality, integrity and diversity.
