Oct. 5, 2020 My experience is not all that new, and yet it was extremely positive. When I lived in Pampa TX (1994-2007), and was president of the Pampa Fine Arts Association, we hosted NEW ARTS SIX at least twice, and encouraged other area sponsors to bring them into their communities as well. As of today, I can't find a working phone number for them, and that disturbs me.

Mission: New Arts Six, has since its inception in 1981, been dedicated to presenting the literature and traditional music (the Spiritual) of the African-American heritage, life and culture. This comes from the black experiences and traditions. The goal is to incorporate the Spiritual (the ethnic folk music), the poetry,and literature of little known African-American writers and artists. By focusing on the uniqueness of the ancestry it has proven to be enlightening, educational and entertaining for all ages, races, and nationalities.
