I recently joined Neumann Family Services as its President and CEO; I feel honored that the Board of Directors selected me following a national search. I decided to accept this offer because of what Neumann Family services stands for and the quality of the services they provide. I have been a professional in the field of disability for over twenty years. I have been involved at a state and national level on activities aimed at increasing community inclusion for people with disabilities. Neumann is the perfect example of what is possible for supporting people with disabilities in integrated community and this is why it gets a great review from me. Just last week, Neumann hosted its annual Fall Ball for all of the clients. The Fall Ball is an evening that every client looks forward to all year. The adult clients dress-up and arrive at the banquet hall full of wonderful expectations to enjoy an evening of dining and dancing. Sharing this evening with my clients was a great honor for me and I look forward to continue to garner support that will allow us to expand activities such as the Fall Ball. I hope all of you join me in reviewing Neumann and the services we provide.
Neumann Family Services (Victor C. Neumann Foundation) empowers people with disabilities with the resources to live, work and thrive in Chicagoland communities. Most individuals helped by Neumann do not have traditional families to help them, so Neumann staff, volunteers and board members not only become allies, but extended family for them throughout their lives.
