Causes: Philanthropy, Private Independent Foundations
Mission: Netcare is dedicated to helping people in crisis with prompt, compassionate, effective and respectful care and providing prompt, professional and comprehensive evaluations and assessments for the courts and community agencies. In doing these things, Netcare seeks to create a positive impact on the community, interested parties and stakeholders.
Results: Netcare Funding: -Netcare services are funded primarily by the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board of Franklin County. - The Netcare Foundation helps support and supplement needs not funded by the ADAMH tax levy. - The Foundation is funded through corporate and individual donations. - The majority of the funding comes from the Netcare Foundation Annual Golf Tournament. Celebrities such Earle Bruce, former head football coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes, have joined the cause and helped facilitate the event. - Fundraising also comes from the Annual Italian Festa! fundraiser dinner and silent auction, and other fundraising efforts. - The Foundation funds needs such as the purchase of Netcare Reach Out vans, capital and safety improvements, and staff appreciation and education opportunities.
Target demographics: Netcare Access provides 24 hour mental health and substance abuse crisis intervention, stabilization and assessment for Franklin County residents. These services are provided 365 days a year for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Our doors never close. Netcare is staffed with skilled psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers and counselors and services are available to anyone; regardless of ability to pay. Netcare is known as your Connection to Franklin County’s Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health (ADAMH) system of care.
