NIA has been around for many years, but finally took the steps and open a community center in Port Houston about three years ago. While they are a small nonprofit compared to most they do a great job serving the community. Port Houston has very limited resources and NIA does a great job working with the Port Houston Elementary to bring resources to the community. I can't wait to see them grow in the next few years.
