As a classical music lover I have had the pleasure of attending the prestigious Naumburg Concert series. The moumental Naumburg Band Shell is a stage that projects acoustic throughout Central Park. Thus, one will find an experience that connects the audience to performer. Moreover, the series is indicative to the spirit of the city with an impressive roster of performers (this year included Pablo Ziegler and Lara St. John in a tribute to the late Astor Piazzolla). I suggest attending the historic, and furthermore, FREE series! I look forward to the promising 2013 year and proudly support the organization in their fine mission.
Where in New York can one find free concerts serving music loving New Yorkers like the Naumburg Orchestral organization offers? To be able to sit under the stars with family and friends listening to great music is one of the great experiences of summer. I am so thankful that the Naumburg family, board of directors and donors continue to keep these concerts free for all of us enjoy. Thanks for allowing me to share my experience and congratulations to one of the greateest nonprofits around!
