Since volunteering with Native Animal Rescue over a year ago, I've become the house photographer and the administrator of the web page and Facebook page. In a typical week I'll photograph the new arrivals (orphaned or injured native animals), update the web page, and post stories and photos on the Facebook page. While doing this work, I've been able to observe the staff and volunteers who deliver direct animal care. They are a devoted group of people who strive to provide the best care to the animals with the aim of returning them to the wild. I am repeatedly deeply moved by the work done by this organization.

A wonderful organization with dedicated volunteers. It gives me peace of mind to know that there is a place here in Santa Cruz county where I can take any injured or orphaned wild animal who need help. A place such as Native Animal Rescue where all the rehabilitators are trained, experenced and work with veterinarians who donate their services. Native Animal rescue is the only licensed wildlife rehabilitation center in Santa Cruz county. Thank you Native Animal Rescue. Please support this great organization. Their website is: www.nativeanimalrescue.org.
