As a 19 year old Junior nursing student on an Obstetrics rotation at Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Spokane, Wa, i was assigned to assist the physician with a delivery. The scene came back to me in detail standing next to him to assist when Roe v. Wade was abolished by the Supreme Court. In a dimly lit delivery suite with soft music in the background, an anencephalic baby was still born. Only a neck stub, no head.
He spoke softly, "I have to tell the mother this." I must have repressed this experience for years because it came back in full color and scene when Roe v Wade was abolished.

There needs to be much more aggressive action on turning this anti-abortion politicians placing abortion bans due to their vast ignorance and low intelligence of what pregnancy and birthing entail. Ask them in public encounters about anencephalics, hydatid form moles, tubal pregnancies, chromosomal abornormalities such as Trisomy 23, let them prove their lack of knowledge by putting these medical challenges out into the public domain with statistics.
