Causes: International, National Security
Mission: The purposes for which nsr was formed are to develop, promote and foster a well-informed and actively engaged citizenry on matters relating to us national defense, homeland security and foreign policy by educating (providing lectures and debates), informing and disseminating information to the general public and others on issues related thereto; and to facilitate, stimulate and encourage public participation and involvement in the national security debate by providing a forum for discussion, debate and exchange of views and a platform for voicing concerns and opinions on critical national and international policy issues relating to the security of the u. S. And its global allies.
Programs: Nsr organized and facilitated lectures and gatherings with prominent policy experts, military leaders, and intelligence and security officials on matters relating to u. S. National defense, homeland security and foreign policy, each attended, on average, by approximately 60-90 persons. Nsr also organized smaller discussion groups, following each lecture program and at other times, for its members and others to discuss and debate their views on matters relating to u. S. National security. Each of these was attended on average, by approximately 25-40 persons. Nsr also distributed, from time to time, relevant articles of interest to, on average, approximately 400-450 persons.
