Mission: Primary exempt purpose: National PKU News primary purpose is to disseminate information to patients and their families as well as professionals involved in the treatment of PKU. (PKU is an inherited disease affecting one out of every 10,000 infants in the U.S.) To this end, it publishes a newsletter 3 times per year and has also published cookbooks and food lists.
Target demographics: those managing Phenylketonuria or PKU, a rare genetic metabolic disorder.
