Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: To promote and represent the common business interest of and improve business conditions among members of the orthotics industry. This purpose encompasses, but is not limited to, representation of member interests with national and state governments on legislative, regulatory and policy issues.
Programs: To promote the interest of firms engaged in orthotics manufacture by undertaking activities more effectively pursued by an association than by individual members. Activities include representation before national and state governments, improvement of public understanding of bracing and support devices, provision of clinical education and research on orthotic function/use and the assurance of patient access to professionally manufactured orthopedic products.
