The National Headache Foundation is a valuable and helpful resource for those with headache and migraine disorders.
I recently joined their team for a Migraine walk in Chicago where I was joined by about 40 others on the organization team.
It was a wonderful experience. I felt connected. Everyone was very kind and generous in sharing their lived experiences.
My best friend suffered from chronic and debilitating migraine headaches. It would last for days and be excruciating. He would be completely incapacitated. NHF was an invaluable resource and he is now migraine free after decades of pain and suffering.
A chronic headache sufferer for decades, I am now headache free thanks to information provided by the NHF about contemporary
treatment options. The Foundation’s commitment to end headache suffering by educating practitioners as well as patients is demonstrated through programs targeted to women, military veterans, underserved communities, college students and anyone seeking knowledge or support.
