First of all, their mission statement is all wrong. They are not rescuing greyhound from demise. Greyhounds don't need rescuing. They aren't put to sleep if they aren't adopted. Their vet care leaves a lot to be desired. The director has a big jar of greyhound teeth on his desk that he pulled himself, from greyhounds whose owners did not give him permission to do. He has performed vet care personally without a license also. He get a zero rating.

National Greyhound Adoption has a beautiful state of the art facility in Northeast Phila. .It can house 100 plus animals at any given time and usually has over 50 greyhounds available for adoption at any given time .In addition to its non profit kennel it also houses and owns non profit Dutton Road Veterinary Clinic that serves the community for its dogs and cats.It has an unusual program of donating excess food given them to other rescues and give away about one half million pounds of food to both dog and cat rescues each year .Please check its greyt web site @ ngap.org
