Mission: The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) Inc., is a volunteer organization, inspired by Jewish values, that works through a program of research, education, advocacy and community service to improve the quality of life for women, children and families and strives to ensure individual rights and freedoms for all.
Programs: BenchMark: NCJW's Campaign to Save Roe educates and mobilizes NCJW members, the Jewish community, and friends and allies everywhere to promote a federal bench with judges who support fundamental freedoms, including a woman's right to reproductive choice. By educating its supporters about the federal courts and activating them to contact their U.S. senators - who must vote to confirm or reject all judicial nominees -the BenchMark campaign enables them to play a critical role in the judicial nominations process. The BenchMark campaign is a national program that employs both grassroots and national resources, such as BenchMark community programs and a BenchMark website (www.benchmarkcampaign.org).
