Programs: The national christian charitable foundation(nccf)and its affiliates exist to support christian ministry in the united states by making grants to 501 (c)3 charitable organizations from donor advised funds, which enable donors to contribute assets and then recommend grants from the funds to charities- in most cases, christian charities. In 2014, nccf and its affiliates accepted more than $989 million in contributions and made 128,866 grants to 17,413 charities totaling $876 million. Nccf personnel assess and qualify grantees; therefore the costs associated with these activities are included in the program services component of expense.
scholarship grantsnccf made a relatively small number of scholarship grants totaling $279,597 pursuant to recommendations made by committees which the donors of the granted funds and related persons do not control. All grants from such fund or account are awarded on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis pursuant to a procedure approved in advance by the board of directors.
