Target demographics: A CAT provides world-class visual arts instruction for high school students and focused career training programs for adults seeking positive change for themselves and their families. This growing network is replicating Bill Strickland’s vision to transform people and communities by inspiring hope and innovation throughout the world.
Geographic areas served: NCAT works with cities collaboratively nationally and globally to open nonprofit Centers for Arts & Technology (CAT).
Programs: The National Center for Arts & Technology (NCAT) was established in 2005 as an affiliate of Manchester Bidwell Corporation. It assists interested communities in opening and sustaining local educational nonprofits that apply the Manchester Bidwell Education Model. A set of basic philosophies and guiding principles drive this model. Currently, 11 eleven locations nationally and internationally actively utilize this model.
