The annual forum is held in washington, dc each year for a national conversation around the shared responsibility to address the needs of regional economies by strengthening the ability of american businesses and career seekers to compete in a global economy.
workforce programs: nawb provides its expertise on national workforce development projects and programs funded by partners in government, business and industry, and foundations. These programs allow nawb to advance the work of the public workforce system and broaden the impact, to increase the effectiveness of workforce programs, and to improve the efficiency of workforce development efforts across the nation. Key projects and initiatives include: implementing the workforce innovation and opportunity act (wioa) with innovation and opportunity; encouraging two-gen workforce strategies, h1b america's promise, promoting equity in apprenticeship, advancing retail success, and the solar training network.
member services: nawb takes great pride in cultivating personal relationships with all of their members, while working closely with their strategic partners to provide the tools and resources the members need to be successful. These tools, resources, and communications include weekly electronic newsletters, podcasts, peer-to-peer learning platforms, online toolkits and publications, and complimentary monthly webinars.
