Causes: Community & Neighborhood Development, Economic Development, Homeless & Housing, Homeowners & Tenants Associations, Senior Citizens Housing & Retirement Communities, Seniors
Mission: To provide education and information to existing housing cooperatives. To educate the public and to stimulate the creation of new housing cooperatives.
Programs: We conduct a national conference and support the education efforts of local associations of co-ops. We train managers and board members of co-op housing. We advocate policies and programs at the Federal level to facilitate the creation of more cooperatives for low and moderate income families and for those with special needs.
