Causes: Boards of Trade
Mission: The purpose of the organization is to reform laws regarding sex offenders, including but not limited to, their registration, through legislation, legal action, and public outreach.
Programs: Involved in several civil rights challenges which resulted in rolling back presence restrictions and overturning retroactive increases in registration terms. Other activities focused largely around educating state law makers as to the damaging effects of proposed and existing registry laws. Also held an annual educational and awareness conference in dallas, tx and provided monthly informational newsletters to members and over 300 inmates.
