Mission: The naleo education fund is the leading nonprofit organization that facilitates full latino participation in the american political process, from citizenship to public service.
Programs: Civic engagement: this program seeks to educate, mobilize, and integrate the latino community in the decision making process in order to strengthen american democracy. We achieve this through our naturalization, civic integration, and voter education and mobilization programs at the local community level.
constituency services: this latino program promotes the governance and policymaking success of latino official through 8 institutes held throughout the country that focus on energy, emergency preparedness, school governance , early learning, higher education and a newly elected officials.
policy, research and advocacy: supports the dissemination of information and the formulation of policy with respect to issues relating to latino access to the political system and issues to the participation of latinos in the political system.
annual conference: this is the largest gathering of latino elected and appointed officials and attracts upwards of 1,200 participants. The conference also provides jurisdictional professional development, timely non-partisan policy discussion and a forum for extensive networking.
