This organization collects membership fees but does not offer any benefits. I know years ago they were active in hosting events, networking opportunities, etc - now their site hasn't been updated in over a year. What exactly are people's dues going towards?
Review from Guidestar
Being a part of this non-profit has been truly rewarding, inspiring, and invigorating. It is sincerely a blessing to help develop women and bring together leaders from across LA and Orange counties. I am personally committed and dedicated to empowering women. The empowerment allows us to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance the diversity of the nation's workforce.
I've been part of the organization for more than four years and it focuses on the issues women experience both while obtaining their MBA and after. The networking and collaboration opportunities are vital for us to be able to advance within our careers. There are so many issues women face in business and not only does NAWMBA shine a spotlight on them, they work towards solutions.
Being able to share in the experience of our members' success makes my role with NAWMBA especially rewarding. NAWMBA is fortunate to support such an amazing group of women who are personally driven to make the most of their talents. What's more: NAWMBA focuses on fostering connections between members to encourage success!
