Causes: Religion, Religion-Related
Mission: NAPAS seeks to foster the holistic development of communities, corporations, couples, congregations and seminarians by affirming cultural identity, cultivating professional skills and facilitating interaction with peers and mentors.
Programs: The Technology, Engineering, Arts, Medicine and Science (TEAMS) Institue, a 21st Century Learning Center, was created to help students and families achieve academic and social success through leadership development, community development, career, college and vocational training opportunities. Classes consisting of 5 to 10 students per instructor have explored disciplines such as computer science, tutoring, fitness, massage therapy,dance, sewing, graphic design, small business,boxing, martial arts, test prep, music, and television production. Special events include live bands, holiday celebrations, hockey, laser tag, go karts, arcade games, skating, dancing,poetry slams, karaoke, and movies. Parents use our various studios as well as travel club. Hours of operation may vary depending on their selected activities. Typical hours are Monday through Thursday, 3 pm to 6 pm for K-8 with adult session from 7 pm through 9 pm. Visit www.teamsinstitute.org for an example of one of our centers.
