Mission: To improve the lives of older adults with a special focus on those who are vulnerable and disadvantaged. Dedicated to meeting the needs of the elderly, enhancing their quality of life and preserving their dignity. Committed to helping our clients remain intellectually, socially and physically active.
Programs: During 2017 3,318 adults received these services: home health services including homemaking, companionship, respite, chore and personal care; adult day care services including respite adult day care, caregivers who care for seniors with dementia and alzheimers; transportation services with transportation trips to help individuals get to medical appointments, employment, school and other destinations; meal services with 34,124 meals served to clients through the meals on wheels, soup train programs and on- site at the two senior center locations; training and education services with nutrition classes, financial literacy classes, health education regarding healthy blood pressure, diabetes prevention, caregiver training classes held each month and parkinson's support; home repair program, staffed by volunteers, making small home repairs for seniors so they can live in their homes safely and independently for as long as possible.
