Causes: Civil Rights, Reproductive Rights, Women, Womens Rights
Mission: To develop and sustain a constituency that uses the political process to guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the ful range of reproductive choice including preventing pregnancy, legal abortion and childbirth.
Programs: Legislative and lobbying - naral pro-choice washington monitors legislation, court cases, state and local budgets, initiatives, and any other public actions affecting freedom of choice or women's reproductive health. We do direct lobbying of elected officials as well as mobilize our members to take action when necessary. This includes citizen lobbying and electoral work.
membership services, communications and events - through emails, our website, periodic events, newsletters and mail, naral pro-choice washington educates our membership on the lastest threats and advancements in our work as well as protect and expand women's reproductive rigts and health.
grassroots organizing and organization building - naral pro-choice washington engages, educates and trains members across the state using field canvassing, online advocacy, and in person meetings. We train our volunteers and activists to appropriately and effectively engage with the public on behalf of naral at community events, rallies and meetings.
